Why RoamCareers was born.
Hi, my name is Frantisek and for years, I worked in the corporate world as a marketing manager, an interesting and diverse role with lots of various tasks and activities. Most of the time, though, I was tied to a desk and a schedule that made me feel very limited and unhappy. Despite my best efforts, I always felt something was missing—freedom. The freedom to travel, explore the world, and to work in a way that truly aligned with my life. The 9-to-5 routine left little room for this, and I found myself growing increasingly unhappy, distracted, and disconnected. I realized I wasn’t alone in feeling this way. There are countless professionals, just like me, who are looking for more than just a paycheck—they want balance, flexibility, and the ability to work from anywhere without sacrificing their career. That’s when the idea for RoamCareers was born. I’ve always been passionate about efficiency—about finding ways to streamline processes, reduce unnecessary steps, and improve outcomes.
